the first day of CLP, during our half an hour break, i checked my handphone, i saw this message from my sister "James koko died in Norway" I was puzzled...died??? i won't be seeing him anymore?? i teared in the lecture hall...
James koko was one of my brother's best friend. I always remember that he came to my parent's office in Muar often and play with my brother during secondary school time. My mum always prepare tea and snacks for them and i'm always the one who carried them up to second floor for them and play with them. Although he's overweight, he's never been insecured. In fact, he always make fun of himself and even tell us how careful he has to be when he sit on chairs because he broke several chairs in his office. He's not mad when my brother said he's tall because the fat under his feet is thick. He's not mad too when my brother and other friends called him "kap po"(toad in Hokkian) because his face wasn't smooth. I remember calling him kap po koko because i don't know the meaning of kap po initially :p
He's very good with IT stuffs. Whenever we have problems with our computer, he will come and help. He even helped us to improve my parent's office's computer system. Whenever we want to buy computer stuffs, he will go to Low Yat with us because he know the people there. He know where to get the cheap but good stuffs. He is the one who cleared all our computer viruses.
He's also the one who brought my brother, my sister and I to Korean BBQ in Taipan. I remember all of us can hardly breathe after the meal :p I remember he told us that he will bring us to other place to eat next round. Then i went to UK to study. When i get back, there are viruses in my computer. My brother told me that James koko may not be free because his new job requires him to fly here and there. He's seldom in Malaysia. So i downloaded the free AVG online myself and cleared some of the virus, thinking that i will wait for James koko to come one day........
I remember the last time with him was when we traveled back to Subang Jaya from Muar together in his red Kenari. He drove 160 and i was freaking out! but then thank God we arrived in SS15 safe. We had a good time chit chatting in the car. He told me how he finished his assignments in one week and relax throughout his semester. I remember he told me that my English has improved.
there were fun times, but there were time when i was mad with James koko. I remember once he commented that my cantonese is bad when i talked to the waiter. I was mad because his cantonese is worst than mine and yet he said my cantonese is worst then his. I was kind of mad but then thinking back, why am i so mad? Just let him be!
yesterday morning was his memorial. My brother told me that he some how wish that James koko could just jump infront of him and say "tada! surprise!! i'm not dead!!" well, we are sad but i truly believe that God has His very best plan why to make this happened. It's just like only now we understand why God took my daddy away from us 10 years ago. If it wasn't so, all of us would be very spoiled including my mum!! We wouldn't be who we are today.
James koko's death reminded me again that we human beings likes to take things for granted. We always think that everyone will live until 70 years old at least or may be 80 years old. Who knows, God decided to take James back to Him when he's 28. So young.....he's the only son in his family. I prayed, in fact the very first time i prayed for him was in my lecture hall after reading my sister's sms, i prayed for him and his family. Make full use of his death, his sacrifies...remind his family or even his friends to appreciate life and live life abundantly.
James koko was far away from God during his life time but i believe that he does know that Jesus died for him. No one knows what really happened to him in the forest...no one knows how was his last moment...whether he cried out to God when he felt down the water fall...God you know about everything! God.....he's a good man...i pray that You take him back to Heaven...
James koko, may you rest in peace. You will be missed...I'll see you in Heaven when my time on earth comes to an end...
A Walk with HIM

say this when you pray...
Father,
hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive those who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptations...

Give us each day our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive those who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptations...

If you think you can, you can!
people usually say "if you think you can, you can!"
But do you know that if you think you can't, GOD can?!
But do you know that if you think you can't, GOD can?!

a question that all of us should think about
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." - John 14:3
D.L. Moody tells of a wealthy man who had found out he was dying of an incurable disease. Wanting to get things in order, he called for his lawyer and prepared his will. But this man had a little four-year-old daughter. The man’s wife just didn’t know how to explain to the young girl about what death means. So she simply told her, “Your dad is going away and he's not going to be able to come back." So the little girl went into her dad’s room, looked up in his eyes, and said, “Papa, do you have a home in that land you’re going to?” This innocent question pierced the man’s soul. He realized that he had spent all of his adult life focused on amassing wealth and power but so little on what really counted. They lived in a beautiful home that he had to leave, and he didn’t know where he was going.
My friends, are you like that man? A beautiful home here in this world, yet uncertain about the next? Are you sure that when that time comes, you’ve got a home to go to? Jesus tells us that heaven is like home – like home is supposed to be. There is only one way to be sure that we are going there. Jesus is the only way. Do you believe Him, or do you not? Having a home in heaven depends on you trusting in Jesus as your Savior and Lord...

Appreciate little little things
some times, some how, I realised, how people don't appreciate little little things you've done. For instance, when my flat's bell rings, no one bothers to go to the door even if that's their friends! The thing that makes it worse is that some don't even say "thank you" when you open the door for them. Another thing that i wondered was, is it so hard to just carry the garbage out? We lived on the first floor! There are 6 big bags of garbage now and no one bothered to throw it out! We have been the one doing and hoping that someone will do it as it collected for so long....but haha, sorry, no one ever think about it. I just went to the post office to take my little parcel because no one can ever be bothered to open the door when the post man came. Imagine 5 of them in the flat and no one wants to walk lesser than 20 steps to the door and see who's out there??!! It won't take you even one minute! They just don't know that it's so troublesome because there's always someone who take their stuffs for them...they just don't appreciate things.....
Yesterday, i came across this video on youtube and i was touched and amazed...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th6Njr-qkq0
i don't know why i can't upload this video. Anyway, just watch it! 6 minutes. Worth your time.
Indeed, God gives, God takes. May God's name be ever blessed. (Job 1:21)
Thinking back, how much things that God had done for me and I never give thanks...or may be i have been taking things for granted, just like my flatmates. Sometimes when things happen the opposite way, we complained. But look at this couple! They celebrate Eliot's birthday EVERYDAY for 99 days!!! They rejoice in the name of the Lord all day long and even when Eliot is with them no more. I was amazed by their faith and appreciation to God even though God let their first child lived for 99 days only and they NEVER complain. Instead, they shared their testimony via this video to the world! How wonderful.....
Oh Lord, I'm sorry... I shall learn to give thanks more no matter what happen. Even when things doesn't go the way i want it to be...because Lord You are in control and You know what's best for me....may Your name be ever praised...

I love you Lord
I love you Lord and I lift my voice to worship You.
Oh, my soul rejoice.
Take joy my King in what You hear.
Let it be a sweet sweet sound in Your ear....
